Protech Power Switchboards

•Protech Power Switchboards is accredited to design and construct 415V switchboards and motor control centres by Cubic.

•Protech Power can design and build MSB, DB, MCC, PF and custom control panels.

•The switchboards are modular and fully enclosed.

• The switchboards can be up to Form 4 b and IP 54 with a rating of 7000 A and a Peak withstand of 264 kA

•The Cubic modular system can be utilised with all major switchgear and electrical component manufacturers including NHP, Terasaki, and Schneider etc.

Fiji Water Switchboard

Protech Power switchboards were contracted to design and build a new main 415V switchboard for the Fiji Water Bottling Plant at Yaqara, Fiji. The built switchboard has the following characteristics:

The Fiji Water Main Switchboard design was conceived in November 2008 and took approximately five months to build and construct. Various tests such as joint resistance tests, secondary injection tests, Insulation resistance tests, functional tests and as well as required statutory tests such as High Voltage Withstand test were conducted to ensure the switchboard conforms to relevant Australian Standards as well as client requirements and company standards. The switchboard was delivered to site in August 2009 and was installed, tested and commissioned by Protech Power Field Services team.
